On February 12, 2025, Florida Nu held its semi-annual Stocks and Cigars event at the City Cigar Lounge in downtown Miami.  The educational program brings together three alumni and volunteer content experts in investing, banking, and financial planning to meet with undergraduate members. This year’s facilitators were Santi Gomez, Senior VP for International Wealth Management for Morgan Stanley; Mark Marandino, President of Marandino and Associates, an Ameriprise Financial branch; and his Associate, Tyler Manner.

Twenty-four undergrads spent 45 minutes with each facilitator, learning about their expertise areas and asking questions ranging from investing and getting into the investment field to general advice on life after college.
