Throughout this quarantine, we have had much time to think about new ways to stay connected as a chapter and new things that we can implement once this all passes and we are back to normal. Until then, all we can do is plan ahead and look back at things we have done in the past and how they have worked for our chapter. It’s especially nice to look back at times when we have been recognized for our hard work. Back in the Fall of 2019, we were recognized by FIU and won several awards starting with Ben Sardinas winning Chapter Advisor of the Year. We also had the Best Collaborative Program with All Hands on Desk, which was a program where we raised funds and collected supplies for children at the start of the school year. Our current chapter president Daniel Orms was awarded IFC Fraternity Man of Distinction and finally, our previous chapter president Manny Perez won the Tony Perez Fraternal award. Looking back at these awards is motivating and makes us ready to achieve bigger and better things once this quarantine period is over.
