The Florida Nu chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon is thrilled to announce that plans are underway to create a new learning community. The architect is finishing up plans and construction is targeted to begin at the end of 2023, with completion scheduled for 2025. The new non-residential Learning Community will be fully remodeled to provide academic support space, office and conference rooms, recreational space, a ballroom/classroom that will be shared with the University, storage, and a small catering kitchen to support events held within the facility. The chapter has already collected over $850,000 of the $1.2 million pledged in the capital campaign. The chapter plans on resuming the campaign in September, aiming to reach out to both existing and new donors to secure the remaining pledged funds. The new facility demonstrates the chapter’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to providing a different and supportive community for its members. The chapter is grateful to all those who have already made pledges and donations to the property and looks forward to continuing to engage with the community in support of this exciting project. Stay tuned for more updates, and we thank you for your continued support.
